This site was started to show the other side of climbing, not for grades or fa’s.   its all about keeping it pure…   when i started climbing i loved every aspect.   from pulling crazy stuff in the gym to tearing into the sandstone of the red river gorge.   at the tender age of fourteen, i started climbing with the original crew from the red.   this was when a busy weekend was a dozen people and miggy had maybe three ice cream sandwiches in the cooler and the pizza was cooked in a wood burning oven. it was in this time of my life that i learned about what climbing really was…

climbing is about friends turning into family, pushing the limits of what we could pull on, how hard we push one another to reach those goals, developing the areas to protect it for further generations to return to time and time again. most of all, it about the FUN!! climbing is bigger than any of us. its not a sport to us, its a way of life!!!!   a free way of life, free to climb any line that we see fit, no matter the distance, time, or difficulty. free to travel with no return date, no round trip tickets.  for some of us this life style becomes all we know.   the road, my  brothers and sisters in the pursuit of a better way of understanding this crazy world. climbing and the people that we meet along the way become everything to us. we need to make more of an effort to help raise this next generation of climbers.

i see young guns daily pulling harder and harder, along with pulling hard we need to help them understand the time and dedication its takes to keep these areas open for them and beyond. the time and energy it takes to clean, chop, cut, and develop. some kids today only care about their 8a score card when they don’t realize that having a 8a score card doesnt mean shit anyway, cause half the people are nt honest anyway, its just a way for guys with tiny cocks to feel better, and girls with the “pro ho” complex to climb that ladder. there are a lot of things i dont get these days, thats why we started this site.
